ineedmymodsThe 2015 edition of I Need My Fics is now live on AO3. By now everyone who participated should have received their gift story notification. If you haven't, your story is there regardless.
We'd like to thank everybody for their participation. Thanks for your requests, your stories, your pinch hits, and your treats. We hope you take some time to explore the collection, read the stories, and comment on whichever stories move you.
The collection will remain open for request fills until the start of next year's exchange. We look forward to seeing you again next time around.

Requests Now Available
Sep. 14th, 2015 10:18 amineedmymodsAll requests for this year's I Need My Fics are now available on AO3. If you just can't get enough and would love to write another story or two or ten, have at it. There's no minimum word count for these last-minute stories. Remember, the collection goes live on the 21st at 9pm EDT.
We would also like to thank our hard-working pinch hitters! Some of them didn't sign up for the exchange, which means they're not getting stories in return. If you've written a pinch hit this year and aren't already signed up for the exchange, feel free to leave up to four prompts of your own for any of our available fandoms as comments to this post.

Sep. 12th, 2015 08:08 pmineedmymodsStories are due tomorrow, September 13, by 9pm EDT. It's easiest if you use the "fulfill prompt" button on your AO3 assignment. We'll be checking to see that all fulfilled assignments are at least 1000 words in length, so please don't put up simple placeholders or your story will go to a pinch hitter.
Within a few days, we will make all prompts available for those who are interested in writing them! There is no length requirement on these treats. We don't keep a separate collection for shorter stories, so all should be posted to the main collection. You have until September 21 for treats if you want to get them in before stories go live.

Quite a few fandoms have one request and one offer. If you notice that you're the only one making offers that match your requests, you should edit your sign-up if you want to ensure a match.
If your offers or requests don't have any matching offers or requests, we may not be able to match you to an author or recipient. If there are other requested or offered fandoms that interest you, make sure to reflect those in your offers and requests before signups close.

We do allow any and all fandoms in the realm of television, movies, published books, published comic books, web comics, video games, anime, or published manga, as long as they're currently listed on AO3.

Sep. 6th, 2014 01:44 pmineedmymodsWe're making a very slight adjustment to our remaining schedule. Stories are now due tomorrow, Sunday the 7th, at 9pm EDT. Anyone who doesn't have a full-length story then will be assigned a pinch hitter as quickly as possible. Stories will be revealed on September 15th at 9pm EDT.
