Signups for I Need My Fics are now closed, numbers are being crunched, and as soon as we have a match for everyone, assignments will reach your inbox.

In the meantime, if you’d like to sign up as a beta reader or as a pinch hitter, we invite you to do so!

Once assignments have been sent, we’ll post to let everyone know.

With just a few days left until sign-ups close, we suggest that you check the exchange's Sign-up Summary. If your offers or requests don't have any matching offers or requests, we may not be able to match you to an author or recipient. If there are other requested or offered fandoms that interest you, sign-ups will be open for editing until 9pm EDT on July 12.

Because AO3's Sign-up Summary doesn't include fandoms that have been offered but not yet requested, you may not know that some of the fandoms in the tag set have people willing to write for them. Below the cut, you'll find a list of all offered fandoms with zero requests as of this evening at 8pm EDT.

Quite a few fandoms have one request and one offer. If you notice that you're the only one making offers that match your requests, you should edit your sign-up if you want to ensure a match.

Nominations for the 2014 I Need My Fics exchange will be closing tomorrow, June 28, at 9pm EDT (what time is that for me?). Shortly thereafter, signups will open.

If you have any last-minute fandom nominations, now's a good time to get them in.

We've never allowed commercials in the exchange, but we did notice that while that rule was mentioned in our rules section on AO3 it wasn't also in the FAQs; we've remedied that to cover our bases. If you'd like to nominate a different fandom in its place, please comment here (or private message us or contact us via ineedmyfics at gmail dot com).

The 2013 edition of I Need My Fics is now live on AO3. By now everyone who participated should have received their gift story notification. If you haven't, your story is there regardless.

We'd like to thank everybody for their participation. Thanks for your requests, your stories, your pinch hits, and your treats. We hope you take some time to explore the collection, read the stories, and comment on whichever stories move you. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

The deadline for submitting stories for the 2013 edition of I Need My Fics has now passed. If you did not submit your story in time, you have been defaulted and your assignment sent out to the pinch hit field.

The collection goes live on September 16 -- you'll be able to read your gift stories at that time. Thank you to all who've participated!
