Oh, this is wonderful. I love character insights, and I particularly love unexpected insights from those who aren't the standard viewpoint. Hermione's seldom-seen insecurity, of course, but then my heart broke for Neville a bit in that scene, with all his uncertainty and fear and then the sudden swell of hope...
