This is absolutely gorgeous: the way it builds so slowly, and the little details scattered throughout, and the way each person's reaction is touched on and given its own breath. I've never seen more than a handful of Firefly episodes, but it doesn't even matter when you've given us such a beautifully crafted story. Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
