She fascinates me too, and that for all of four or five scenes where she's on-screen and only one mention of her name. But there's just so much backdrop hanging behind her in the book. You feel like the whole story is known by the author and just lying there under the surface. I wanted to do it justice, and I had hoped I could at least hint at everything that could be there.
