I feel like the luckiest person in the world, because I just got new BSG canon written for me! This is so beautiful, and I had to read it twice before saying anything, and I know I'll read it over and over. More coherent comments will be forthcoming as soon as I can formulate them the way I need to, but... wow, this is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the overall approach you took to the prompt and the feel of this piece. All the voices are spot-on canon perfect, and you can bet your ass I'll be singling out my favorite parts and leaving volumes of compliments when I get back in later tonight.
