Using AO3

This year, the I Need My Fics exchange is taking place at Archive of Our Own (AO3). This includes fandom nominations. What does this mean for you? A few things.

1. If you don't already have an account at AO3, let us know either here or via email so we can send you an invite code.


2. This year, your nomination will be limited to five fandoms. Consider your nominations carefully! Only fandoms in books, tv, movies, manga, video games, or comic books are eligible.


3. You will be able to see which of your nominated fandoms has a match during the signup phase.


4. You will be able to change your requests and offers as long as signups are still open.

We hope these changes will make the exchange easier, with all the stories posted in only one location. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Does anime count under manga and/or tv? What about cartoons?

Yes, anime and cartoons are both allowed under TV (or TV and manga).
